The Neighborhood America building is a three-story, 34,000 square foot anchor building. The building contains a two-story lobby space and incorporates materials that reflect richness and technological sophistication. Openness and transparency were quickly identified as the underlying concepts during initial meetings between the architects, developer, and tenant.
The use of glazing became the focus of architectural design, and a light tint glazing accomplished the client’s goals with the most transparent product. As part of the interior work, the design team created a custom reception desk for the lobby space.
