The Old Naples Seaport project is an award-winning redevelopment of a blighted neighborhood commercial shopping center. An otherwise thriving mixed use development on just over two acres of land consisted of retail, a marina, a waterfront restaurant and non-viable retail space. The client wished to replace that portion of the program with 16 high end condominium units, enclosed parking and a swimming pool.
The client’s primary goals for the project were to maximize the potential for residential uses on a very unique site, to integrate housing with a restaurant so that each use could feed off the other, to respect the historical character of the adjacent neighborhood, and to increase overall property value.
