This well-located beachside condo suffered from an enclosed floor plan, 8-foot ceilings, and 30-year-old kitchen and baths. The entire condo was gutted to the perimeter walls, and rebuilt. Pk Studios led the effort to obtain variances from building committees necessary to modify the hard flooring areas based on the new floor plan, and to expand the existing terrace area.
The new plan features 2 bedrooms, and enlarged master bathroom, an office/den space with a multi-purpose desk and bed, and an open kitchen-living-dining area, all totaling 1,900 square feet. The interior design utilized many strategically placed shallow coffered ceiling areas to provide the illusion of height in the main living areas and bedrooms. All interior finishes were replaced, and a new palette was developed with the owner.
